I just did this with GPO Preferences, I add groups to the workstation's
local Administrators group based upon OU location (every facility OU has
their own local admin group, so I add the admin group pertinent to each
facility OU). You can have a single GPO, but use multiple entries within
the preferences if you want to map multiple settings to multiple locations.
What you can do is add the item (within the preference), then on the Common
tab, check the Item-level targeting box. Then click the Targeting...
button, then use the New Item drop-down to select Organizational Unit. Then
just add your EMEA OU and fill out the rest of the GPO preference
as-desired.

And thanks again to those that recently pointed me in this direction
(preferences), they're incredibly powerful.

Subject: [gptalk] Apply GPP if computer DN contains a certain string

Hi Guys,

I would like some GPP settings being applied if the computer DN contains the
string "OU=EMEA". Is there a way I can achieve this with Item Level
Targeting (LDAP query or something alike)?

Thanks for your help! - Gabriele
