I have 2 folders under each of 2500 job numbers that I need to hide so users don't save files to them. Users need to have Modify permissions to the folders so software can store information on their behalf and have it kept with the proper job folder. If I can turn off the "Show Hidden Files" check box under folder options it would meet all requirements. I have found the GPO that will completely turn off the folder options dialog box but how do I dig down and turn off just the one setting. I have found some tech articles that tell how but when I follow them they fail.
