The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. Hi, We are currently running Intenet Explorer 6 in our environment and have decided to move forward with IE8. The machines are all XP Pro SP2 and we are using Group Policy (Server 2003) for our Software Deployments. I am assuming that the best method for creating a deployment will be with the Internet Explorer Administration Kit 8 and using the IE8 ADM. The one question I have that I cannot seem to find information on is what happens to the existing install of IE6? Does it get automatically updated or replaced when IE8 is deployed? Are there any issues or concerns that I should be aware of for those that have already done this? Thank you! Steve
