The GPTALK mailing list is where you can send and receive email related to Windows Group Policy. You must subscribe to the list to send and receive mail from the list. The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. Hi, I have enabled Fast logon optimization on my desktops. So, now I can see improvement in computer startup time but not in logon time. After reading the KB(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305293), I realized that having roaming profile is stopping fast logon optimization from being applied for login. For some reason, I can not change the profile value in user object property. So, I tried by enabling "Allow local profiles only" option in desktop so that user will be logged in with local profile instead of roaming. But still the login delay persists. Any idea how to make optimization work here? Thanks, Sitaram
