Hi All,

I am facing a problem with my network/domain. The group policies are not getting refreshed automatically. BTW logoff or restart doesn't solves the problem.

The only solution is running gpupdate /force. Can anybody help me out to tackle this issue...

Thanks...

My first suggestion is to check your DC replication by running dcdiag /e from a command line on one of your DCs.

Check Computer Configuration/administrative templates/system/group policy

Check all these for incorrect settings. If you are on SBS check all
policies. Or run a resultant set on a client machine and see which policy is
controlling settings.

What specific settings are not being refreshed? Some things won't get
reapplied until the GPO changes unless you tell GP processing to do
otherwise.
