Hello, Currently I have Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x installed on desktops in my environment. I want to upgrade to the latest 3.6. using GP software install on server 2003. I setup the msi file with Windows Installer Wrapper Wizard 0.2.0. I ran in on an XP desktop I saw the message after re-boot that Mozilla Firefox 3.6 was being installed, walked away came back about 20 minutes later and it was still running, I knew it was hung up. So I had to reboot the machine, then I drilled to the location on the FF executable and msi files, ran the MSI and I saw there were prompts, the main was a prompt to "upgrade", that is where I feel I got hung up as the machine had Firefox already installed - 3.5.x, but I needed to respond to "upgrade" to 3.6. Can anyone tell me how I can choose prompts, choose "upgrade" in my file before I execute tie GP to desktops ? Why don't you just use the free Firefox MSI from Frontmotion? http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox/ They do all of the hard work of creating the MSI for free.
