I am pushing Primary DNS suffix value through GPOs and I am seeing that it is coming into effect only after reboot. Is this a know thing? Any workarounds for this? Thanks,

I'm surprised as when you input these manually on a network connection they take effect immediately (provided you clear you local dns cache). What is the output of ipconfig /all Before and after an gpupdate/force update? That sounds correct to me, I have done it via GPO before and also via registry tweak and both times either needs a reboot or for the connection to be reset.
