Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to configure proxy for Firefox. I know it has been discussed once or twice on here. I tried to do a search on the GPO site, but no luck. Any suggestion how best to set proxy for Firefox?

Regards.

Thank you Thomas (& Nick). Can either of you email me outside of the list here to share specifically what you did?

Thanks!

FirefoxADM is supposedly deprecated now. They are now working on the
ADMXPI for Firefox, which still allows configuration of Firefox through
Group Policy, but without the need for all of the
logon/logoff/startup/shutdown scripts. However, I can't see to find
where to download it.

If anyone knows, please share with the group. The FIrefoxADM page
<http://firefoxadm.sourceforge.net/?q=node/3> has a link but there is
no info about it. L

That aside, the FirefoxADM stuff still works pretty good. I've used it
before.

You can also get repackaged, MSI based versions of Firefox from a group
called FrontMotion <http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox/index.htm> . They
also offer a "Community Edition" version which can be configured through
Group Policy by simply downloading their ADM. Both the basic and
community editions are free and they usually do a very good job keeping
up with new releases. I've never used their CE version before, but their
basic MSI installers work great for GP deployments. J
