I'm looking to control who can reboot computers, is this possible via GPO? I'm working in w2k8 r2. I'd like to grant certain 'remote desktop users' access to reboot computers. For reference, this particular user has local admin access currently and I'm looking to restrict to a regular user and reboot, when necessary. I see a option to control shutdown but not rebooting. Any guidance is appreciated. My googlefu is not strong. Steve

Nevermind. There is a local security policy that controls shutdown, which includes perms to reboot. I tested and the behavior is what I wanted to do. Thanks, hopefully this helps someone.
