The GPTALK mailing list is where you can send and receive email related to Windows Group Policy. You must subscribe to the list to send and receive mail from the list. The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. Never mind. It seems to be working now. Hello Everyone. I have been using folder redirection via group policy with XP for years. Now I am working on Windows 7 policy getting different results. My path is \\%HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH%\Data. The result should be that all redirected documents\folders get put under a folder named Data on the user's home drive. With Windows 7 the Data directory does not get created. Instead there is a My Documents folder. Is there a setting that I'm missing? I can see no reason for this folder to be named My Documents instead of Data. I'm grateful for any help you can offer. Mary Winter
