Hi

I currently have a GPO in place which delivers users Home Page and Proxy Pac. (Preference Mode)

I have a subset of users who require a seperate proxy pac. All users are in the same OU and cannot be moved.

Im thinking of creating a new GPO for these users which will give them there new proxy. I can obviously filter the GPO to these users only, im just concerned what impact it may have on the other GPO which runs in preference mode ?

Cheers

Steve

If you put all the users requiring a new PAC in a security group and
filter that way, all you would need to do is make sure the new GPO is
higher in the link order so it will apply last.

That way, everyone will get the preferences by default when their
profile is created (Preference Mode should only apply once), but users
in the security group will get a custom PAC.
