I kindly need assistance. I have tried many ways to disable USB Memory
Sticks on our network but I am failing. Please kindly assist on a group
policy that can help me do this task.

Hi Baboloki,

You could try the following, I had try it myself and it is working. The
only problem that you will have is that any USB used before applying this
policy is not blocked and could be used .To solve this issue you will have
to remove the drivers for all USB flash disks from clients computers.

I believe you can disable already installed devices by setting the following registry value to a Hex of 4 -

HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\USBSTOR

I've been able to do that in the past with success as well

Note that if you are running XP, you can also use the Group Policy Preferences Devices feature to control removable storage devices.
