Hi,

Question for the group...

Is there any real science around how group policies can be optimized when deploying GPO/GPP? For example:

Is it better to have more policies with fewer ILT's or the inverse?
Is ILT quicker / more efficient than WMI filters?
.
..

Thanks.

Damian.

The answer I'd imagine is 'it depends'. Particularly in the realm of WMI
filters , performance depends on the query i.e. the infamous Win32_Product
query J. Same goes for ITL. Depends weather the ITL touches network
resources and how many different ITL criteria you are using.
