The GPTALK mailing list is where you can send and receive email related to Windows Group Policy. You must subscribe to the list to send and receive mail from the list. The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. Hi! I need to buy a software that restricts what a local user do in Windows XP and/or vista. Is possible to programmatically create a software to do this using GPO or another ways? I would pay for a programmer to do this to me... Any idea? Thanks. Maurit- This is probably an off-list discussion but depending upon what you want to do, you might want to check out a product my company has called Desktop Policy Manager, which provides a web-based interface for simplifying desktop lockdown using native GP. You can download an evaluation at www.sdmsoftware.com/desktop_management.
