Hello everyone, I have been trying to allow non-admin users to install ActiveX control add-on in Windows 7 and have read the Microsoft documentation on how to implement this using the ActiveX Installer Service policy but have not been successful getting it to work. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd631688(WS.10).aspx I have added the site as recommended to the trusted Site to Zone list, Enable the 'Use Only Machine Settings' but still no dice. I have gotten it to prompt me but not able to install it and tried the silent mode but still not happening. I receive a message each time saying that the brower security is properly defined and I have played with that too but still nothing.These are Siebel ActiveX add-on BTW. I know there are scripting methods for doing this and we have created SCCM install package to install the add-on to the users computers we can currently reach and that are XP and Vista but would like to have this working for the Win7 user base. We will be migrating the majority of the user base next year to Win7 and the add-on that are most frequently used will be a part of the image but as new ones get added for the application we don't want any manual interaction from our end. Has anyone done this before or recently and wha light can you shed on it for me please Marcus
