Hi Darren\Listers.
I have not been on the list in a while but I read it every day. Thanks to everyone for the valuable information. I'm wondering, does adding a comment to a GPO cause it to reapply? I can see in the Details tab that the modified date was updated. Does that qualify as a version change?
Thanks for your help,
Mary Winter

Great question Mary, but the answer is no-a comment is not considered a GPO change from a GP processing perspective. In fact, you can note that after you make a comment change, the GPO version does not change.

Thank you Darren!
I have one more question, this time for roaming profiles. With XP for the Prevent the following directories from roaming with the profile: setting you could start the string with Start Menu;Saved Games;Recent; etc.

Is this still true with Windows 7? Or would I have to spell out AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu;AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent ?
Thank you for your help,
Mary Winter
