The GPTALK mailing list is where you can send and receive email related to Windows Group Policy. You must subscribe to the list to send and receive mail from the list. The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. Hi, I have Window 2003 servers with XP workstations. I have created a “Test OU” and created a GPO with the following items set under “Computer Config/Admin Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Security Pate/Internet Zone: - Turn Off First-Run Opt-In to Disabled - Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints to Disabled - Logon Options to Enabled with the option set to Prompt for user name and password After placing a workstation in the OU and updating the policy, I ran the Group Policy Results wizard. It only shows that the last two settings in use. But if I right click the results entry and select “Advance View” , the Resultant Set of Policy windows shows all the settings as I set them. Also, I think these setting should be modifying the registry at HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\3 adding the following values: 1208 = 0 for Turn Off First-Run Opt-In 2102 = 3 for Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints 1A00 = 65536 for Logon Options But, I don’t see these in the workstation's registry. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Alan
