Subject: [gptalk] Event ID 1058 error

Hi, On all my Laptops (not desktops) I get the same event log error 1058. This points to a policy {cc8e62b2-e53f etc). When I look in my sysvol\sysvol\domain\policies directory, there is no entry with this name. I think in the past I might have deleted this policy which I guess was a GPO with all the laptops as members. How do I prevent this happening? Is there a way to recreate the policy and then delete it properly? Any help would be most appreciated. Steve

Yes I have, it fails every time.
