Server 2003, SP1 Administrative Template Comparison with XP, SP2

With the release of Server 2003, SP1, Microsoft provided updates to the ADM template files that ship with the OS (found in c:\windows\inf). Specifically the following ADM files were updated in Server 2003, SP1:

inetres.adm

system.adm

wmplayer.adm

wuau.adm

 

I used the ADMX utility that comes with the Windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools to discover the differences between the Server 2003, SP1 version and the XP, SP2 version. The results of this tool (with some massaging of the formats) are shown here:
